The game that started the Snes's glorious run : Super Mario World
I never thought after playing Super Mario Bros. 3 on the original Nes that there could be someone else Mario game to surpass that one. Boy, was I ever wrong! I have such great memories of when Super Mario World came out. I remember you could never play it at the local retail market nearby town because 2 or 3 kids would all the time be standing there for 2 hours playing it. Then when I ultimately got my Snes that christmas of '91, when Mario World was the system's pack-in game, i was abruptly hooked. The game was not much of a challenge, but I didn't care I loved it so much. Since those days I have played any other Mario titles and don't get me wrong, I assuredly love Mario 64 and other N64 Mario games, but this game just set a whole new thorough for Mario games. I still play it even to this day and never get tired of it. For anyone who has never played this game, I would undoubtedly propose it to you if you like Mario. If not, then don't waste your time.
